Devotions For Dieters!
A 365-day to a lighter you!
March 10
1 Peter 3:14
But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled.
If the example of Jesus teaches us anything, it should be that suffering is a noble and good thing when it leads to a better way. Our diets are definitely the source of suffering, but there is great blessing awaiting all who stick with them. God has promised special blessing to those who keep courage in the face of suffering and don’t give in. Losing weight not only makes us look and feel better, but it draws us closer to God and His divine plan for us. Our suffering is not in vain. It is all to the glory of the Lord.
Today’s thought: I will fear nothing, as long as Jesus is with me!
The Plan
The plan, oh yeah! ”To work on me” although I had a membership with Bally’s Total Fitness, I joined a private gym the cost was afordable and a personal trainer was included with the membership.
My workout schedule was every:
Tuesday -8:00-10:00am
Thursday-7:00-10:00am
Saturday-10:00-1:00pm
Let’s Take That Journey!
My journey started back in October, 2002, having achieved twenty years of dedicated service to the citizens of the city of New York, and contributions to the “Finest” Police Force in the world, I decided that it was time for me to retire.
With that said; let’s take that journey. I’m in my sixth year of retirement, and I’m looking and feeling great! I started out first of all by taking care of me, I was nearly two-hundred pounds “yikes” I hesitate to say it , but it’s true guess those donuts caught up to me LOL.
I had a “plan” a plan that would change my life forever……sorry I got to go, will be back soon…..
